When her rescuer found her, she noticed immediately that the sweet, gentle tabby was pregnant. We didn't know how pregnant until the morning after we took her into foster care and she gave birth to 6 kittens! Tykie was an incredibly patient and nurturing mommy to her babies, who have now all been adopted. We aren't totally sure how she feels about cats other than her own children, but know that she has not enjoyed meeting other kitties at adoption events and has LOVED being an only child in foster care. After all those kittens, she deserves to be babied, don't you agree?! Tykie is not a good car rider and wants a home where she can stay put!
