Buddy is quite a cat and has had quite a life! A one-time vagabond, Buddy adopted his people about 4 years ago when they lived in a house in Arizona. But even settled down with a family and home of his own, Buddy still had freedom to roam. He was something of a local celebrity, popular for his doglike behavior. When not napping (Buddy likes to sleep!), he could be found visiting the neighbors, taking walks with his family and watching  his toddler “brother” at the playground across the street. A career opportunity brought Buddy’s family to the DC area a few months ago. They settled into a condo and Buddy has been stressed and unhappy ever since. He feels like a prisoner and misses being able to wander outside when he wants to. His family is trying to help by taking him for daily leash walks outside, but it just isn’t enough. Buddy is unhappy and longing for a home where he can have safe outside access on his own schedule. If you are looking for a laid-back character of a cat, handsome Buddy could be just for you!
