Midas is handsome young man and quite a character! As you can see by his pictures, he can really ham it up for the camera. A neighbor reported that Midas’s owners moved out of their house and had left him behind.  We jumped in and brought him into foster care. Described by his foster mom as a "professional cat," Midas is a great companion--he loves to know what you are doing all the time, and often wants to help. He is affectionate, but on his terms: you'll know if he's not in the mood for attention. Midas loves the "catio" at his foster home and would love to have access to a screened porch. He really likes the company of other cats, but needs a kitty to ignore him or enjoy chasing games. Midas DETESTS dogs, so if you have a dog or see a canine in your future, Midas is not the kitty for you. Most of all, Midas is looking for someone who won't leave him behind ever again!
